  • Operate and maintain the PICS platform and volunteer registry.
  • Issue digital certificates (registration and activity) to volunteers and organisations.
  • Enable organisations to verify and approve volunteer activities.
  • Send transactional email notifications regarding account status and activity updates.
  • Generate anonymised impact reports for PICS Trust administration.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Volunteer profile information (name, sector, activity summary) is visible to the organisation the volunteer is registered under. Certificate data is publicly verifiable at secure.picscredit.org. We may disclose information if required by applicable law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed password storage, rate-limited authentication, and CSRF protection. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Activity records and certificates are retained indefinitely for verification purposes.
