Welcome to the Pro Bono Impact Cognisance System (PICS). These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform at picscredit.org, operated by PICS Trust. By registering or using PICS, you agree to these terms in full.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the PICS platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms of Service, and agree to be bound by them. If you are registering on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms. PICS Trust reserves the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Use of Services

You agree to use the PICS platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:

  • Submit false or misleading activity data or organisational information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the platform.
  • Misrepresent your identity, role, or organisational affiliation.
  • Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair PICS services.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify PICS Trust immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your account. PICS Trust reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent data, or engage in conduct harmful to the platform or other users.

4. Intellectual Property

The PICS platform, including its name, logo, design, content, and certificate templates, is the property of PICS Trust and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without prior written consent from PICS Trust. Certificates issued by PICS are for personal use only and must not be altered or misrepresented.

5. Limitation of Liability

PICS Trust provides this platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PICS Trust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
